Brit-Award winning vocal group BLAKE is comprised of Ollie Baines, Stephen Bowman and Humphrey Berney. With over a million albums sold, No. 1 hits in ten countries and nearly 150 TV appearances around the globe, BLAKE continue to build their reputation as one of today’s most eclectic and exciting classical ‘crossover’ groups.
Recognised by the music industry for their talent, their debut album received the prestigious Classical Brit Award for Album of the Year in 2008 – a huge honour for a group that was still less than a year old. They have gone on to release a further four studio albums, a Christmas album and 10th anniversary album, alongside a series of tours and concerts.
Their worldwide success has taken them on many tours to countries including the UK, Australia, Japan, Scandinavia, Philippines, Russia, China, US, Indonesia and Trinidad & Tobago. They have been invited to perform at many prestigious locations and events such as Buckingham Palace, Henley Festival, performing for Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco, London Olympic Stadium, Wembley Stadium, Trafalgar Square as the anthem for the launch of the Walking With The Wounded South Pole challenge, Dame Shirley Bassey's 70th birthday party (which led to a collaboration on Blake's Christmas album), and fundraising for, and performing at the opening of the Bomber Command Memorial in London for the Queen and 5,000 veterans.
