Alfie Boe is an English singer and actor, notably for his work in musical theatre. He is best known for his performances as Jean Valjean in the muscial Les Misérables and his leading role in a Broadway production of La Boheme; he appeared on the cast album for the production, and a year later, along with the other leads, received a Tony Honors Award. Alfie has sold more than one million albums in the United Kingdom.
He has appeared in a number of staged productions, such as Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikando and the limited run of Rodgers and Hammerstein's Carousel, and gave a number of performances during the BBC Proms. He tours both the UK and the US with various classical music concerts, both solo and with other artists.
