Alan Hansen is a Scottish former football player and BBC television football pundit. He was the first outfield player to win English league titles in three different decades. His first club as a professional player was with the Scottish team Partick Thistle. He transferred to Liverpool in 1977 and remained there until his playing retirement in 1990. During this time he also received a total of 26 caps for Scotland.
